The Purpose of Money

Unfortunately, much of humanity is so focused on making money that it has.lost sight of deeper purposes. Persons in or affiliated with traditional organizations are perhaps particularly adept at this focus on money, or, as we like to say, “the bottom line.”

We are moving into a time (or are we in it?) when we can more easily see the manifestations of our false beliefs. We are facing experiences that more easily teach us to tap into higher purposes and more empowering intention. We will surely get this teaching. Since I have entitled this article, “Money, Prosperity, Abundance,” I want to define my terms. For me, each word connotes a different meaning and resonates to a different vibration.

The Meaning of Money, Prosperity, and Abundance

Money is a means of exchange, energy in the form of coins or wampum or reduced to paper as currency. Gold and silver have value — both intrinsic and extrinsic — but paper only represents value. The only power money has is the power we give it. Prosperity means flourishing and thriving. We tend to equate prosperity with good fortune and success and affluence, the

Camping Journals – Preserve Your Camping Experiences

January 27th, 2012

Camping is a great way to escape the rat race and be one with nature. Alas, your camping.experiences can fade with time. The best way to prevent this is to keep a camping journal for your adventures.

Camping Journals

Take a minute to give some consideration to your most recent camping experience. What sticks out in your mind? Now think about the first time you ever went camping. Undoubtedly, you remember few things about the geography, people you went with, particular camping routes and spectacular views. The experiences youve forgotten are lost to time. If you keep a camping journal, this wont be the case.

There are famous instances of people keeping journals throughout time. Of course, Anne Franks Diary is the best example. In her diary, Anne kept a running commentary of the two years her family spent hiding from the Nazis. While your camping experiences better be more lighthearted, keeping a journal will let you remember them as the years pass.

A good camping journal combines a number of characteristics. First, it should be compact so you dont have to take up unnecessary space for other things. Second, it should have a case to protect it

Learn The Inside Scoop To Video Game Cheats, Reviews And Previews

January 27th, 2012

You know, nobody likes a cheater. But when it comes to discovering video game cheats, “cheating” isn’t what you’re doing. I prefer to think of it as “discovering shortcuts, tips and tricks,” or video game hints.

Video games have gotten so complex, since the days of Rubix Cubix and Donkey Kong, that the game authors have purposely thrown in some back doors and other shortcuts to aid the exhausted players. However there is a problem, most of these back doors are so well hidden that these same authors have to leak the game cheats or no one would ever find them on their own.

Video game cheat sheets, codes and game hints are sort of useless if you don’t own any video games. Well I’m sure if you have games you probably beat them fast with the aid of cheat sheets, but with online video game stores you can beat more and pay less!

Any web site worth visiting will not only have video game reviews and cheats for you to peruse, but they will also have game walkthroughs. Video game walkthroughs differ from cheats in that they actually “walk you through” the process of achieving some goal. Video

Memory Techniques, Success And Money.

January 27th, 2012

Can I improve my memory?

The evidence that your memory is trainable can be found in both ancient scholarship and modern business. The techniques of memory enhancement have existed for thousands of years and are serving major firms today. The systems have been used and taught by some of the greatest minds in history, including Plato, Aristotle, Cicero, Caesar Augustus, Thomas Aquinas, Dante, Francis I, Henry III of France, and Leibniz. Memory systems have also assisted countless scholars, business merchants, doctors, lawyers, kings and emperors. These ancient memory systems have been adapted for use in modern business today. Corporations, governments and organizations have already begun to use these memory systems in their regular day-to-day business and workplace environments.

Can memory techniques make me money?

In the world today information is the most important product on the open market. To lose it or to lose control over it can be the end to a business. Here is a short list of some examples where memory systems can make money or save money:

1) Without memory aids, an executive spends around 30 minutes a day searching for things on his desk.

2) Much business occurs off the record,

Why You Should Get A Massage

January 26th, 2012

I’m giving busy people everywhere permission to schedule a personal massage. Why?? Because I’m alarmed by how few people I know that have taken the time to indulge in a relaxing and therapeutic massage.

There are many reasons that you, no matter who you are, should be getting a massage regularly. One of the biggest and most obvious reasons that a massage should be a regular part of your life is because of how relaxing and stress relieving it is. We a all know that life is stressful and demanding. What you may not realize, however, is how much that stress affects your physical body. Massage is an amazing way to de-stress and unwind after a busy week. When life is stressful our muscles quickly reflect our stress by becoming tense and knotted up. A massage can release the tension in your muscles in no time.

A massage will not only relax your body, but it will also relax your mind. There is no value that can be given to having a mind that is relaxed and at peace even in the midst of a chaos and disaster filled world. Massage can be therapeutic for your mind and allow

Remedies for Sinusitis

January 26th, 2012

There are number of factors that cause sinusitis. The most common occurs when a cold causes swelling and congestion on the lining of the nose. Sinusitis may begin as a viral infection but within a few days it can develop into a bacterial infection. In many sinusitis patients, there may be one or more preexisting condition that adds to the problem. These include allergies, nasal polyps and nasal septum. These conditions cause the narrowing of the nasal passages and blockage the sinus openings. That is why some people undergo operations to improve their chronic sinus infections.

Despite the fact that most sinusitis sufferers receive no benefit from antibiotics, most doctors still prescribe them. Most doctors also recommend decongestants although they can cause insomnia and nervousness. Long term use can also cause dependency to the drug. The side effects of nasal sprays cannot also be overlooked. It can cause high blood pressure, mood swings, acne, peptic ulcers glaucoma and weight gain. Although surgery can be the last resort to severe sinusitis there is still no guarantee that it will be successful, it could even make matters worse.

For these reasons, some people have turned to the healing wonders of natural medicines.

Wayne Rooney The Superstar

January 26th, 2012

Are you a football supporter? Do you support England? Are you looking forward to the football World Cup?? These are three questions which I would have answered a big yes to and I am very happy to learn that Wayne Rooney looks likely to be fit to play some part in the Fifa World Cup tournament. He could prove to be the man that helps bring glory to our proud footballing nation.

The hype around the foot injury of Wayne Rooney has been absolutely massive and has been possibly way over the top. I would have much preferred more focus to have been placed on some of our other better players such as David Beckham, Steven Gerrard, Joe Cole and Michael Owen. In saying that, in a way it could have been a blessing in disguise as the players mentioned and the other members of the squad, have had quite a lot of the attention taken away from them.

I remember first watching Wayne Rooney play live, when I went to support my favourite team Birmingham City play at St Andrews. Wayne at that point was probably only seventeen and was playing for Everton. I had heard that

If Not You, Who Can You Trust?

January 26th, 2012

Have you ever struggled to make a decision or enter into a commitment because you didnt trust your ability to make the right choice? How many times have you gotten a feeling in the pit of your stomach that something was not right? Did you pay attention to your intuition or did you ignore it? Deep in our core, we know what is best for us. So why dont we trust that?

Some of us were taught as a child that we cant trust ourselves. Maybe we werent able to trust our loved ones or our loved ones were unable to trust us. Sometimes life experiences shatter our trust in our self. Perhaps you can recall an event in which you trusted yourself and the outcome was disastrous and painful. The inability to trust our self can stem from not knowing who we are and whats important to us. Other times we know what is right for us but we fail to honor that because of fear, external pressure, or a belief that we are not worthy.

Sometimes we do make decisions that dont turn out as planned. I once signed up for tap dance lessons because [...] Continue Reading…

How to Choose a Freelance or Ghost writer

January 25th, 2012

Copyright 2006 Julie Ann Amos

When you have a writing project that needs a special touch, consider choosing a professional freelance writer (or ghostwriter) to make it shine. Finding a professional writer can seem a daunting task, especially if youve never done it before, but choosing a freelance writer is much the same as choosing any other vendor for your business. Its important to consider which writer has the skills to deliver a quality product and the professionalism to do so on time and with minimum hassle to you.

About Freelance Writing

Freelance writing is a unique industry, and it helps to understand a little bit about how it works. A freelance writer is someone who takes on writing projects for hire, usually based on the number of words or pages required. He or she is an independent contractor who works with you to finalize project specifications and deliver a final product that meets with your approval. Define Your Project

The first step to successfully finding a writer is to define your project. This is a crucial step because if you dont have a clear outline of your requirements and needs then choosing a freelance writer will be somewhat

How To Spot A Good Used Car Just From The Ad

January 25th, 2012

When you buy a used car it can be a frustrating experience with many people feeling helpless and frustrated with no clear direction to go in. Buying a used car in a private sale will take a great deal of time but by reading into the content of the used car ad you can get a good idea as to the mentality of the seller and potentially the condition of the car as well.

Ads that are very descriptive, including pictures, and detail the vitals about the car, its previous history, as well as the past and current mechanical condition are best. By providing detailed information about the car you are more easily able to determine if the car is a potential candidate for a good deal and worth taking the time to arrange an in person inspection with the seller. You could literally spend a lifetime looking at overpriced and unreliable cars when searching for a good deal.

Identify sellers who are serious about selling their used car. A descriptive and detailed ad will tell you that this car owner is serious about selling the car and understands what information is needed in order to actually consider

Insider Tips To Horse Properties

January 25th, 2012

Buying horse properties, especially your own horse is similar to buying a dog except that this pet can be very expensive. Quality horses aren’t cheap. If youre in the market for a horse, you might be checking out newspaper ads, equine forums on the Internet, your states agricultural bulletin, notices on tack and feed stores or livestock auctions all in search of a good horse at a good price. Depending on the animals breeding, health, age, size and ability, a recreational riding horse can cost anywhere from several hundred dollars to many thousands. The purchasing cost of the animal, however, is just the start. Julie Lucas, a horse veterinarian comments that often enough, the cost of the horse is insignificant or rather small when put together with the cost of its care and upkeep. Needless to say, procuring horses makes for a big financial step so careful planning and preparation must taken to avoid buying less than quality horses.

Horse owners generally agree that it is better to buy horses from people who have been in the business for long. If you found a prospective dealer in horse properties like a farm or ranch owner, research about the owner

A Hymn to Baked Potatoes

January 25th, 2012

What better on a cold winters night, than to come home to a supper of crisp-skinned baked potato, piping hot, a knob of butter soaking into the fluffy centre. Perfect for days when you get home in good time but have a million things to do and cooking supper is last on the list. All you have to do is get the oven hot (200C), fling them in, (with a cross scored on the top, so they dont burst and coat your oven with an irremovable patina of flaked potato) and leave them there for at least an hour, better an hour and a half. You can get on with everything else, secure in the knowledge that supper is cooking without you and then put together a few fillings at the last minute.

One of my favourite toppings is tuna. Just open the tin, drain, season with salt and pepper and some lemon juice (feel free to add mayonnaise if you like it but we dont). Other hassle-free accompaniments are baked beans, grated cheese, left-over juices from last nights stew. Any of these makes a tasty, nutritious meal with no fuss and best of all, one that

When starting up any business, there are certain pitfalls you need to steer clear of. That’s what this section is all about. So that you can arm yourself with the knowledge of techniques that will lead you down the path to failure. Whether that is time or money losses. Both are important!

I must add here that these things to avoid are things that I have tried myself and haven’t brought me any positive results from using them. So you should be cautious before you attempt any of these listed here.

Email Address Buying
I’m sure
that you’ve seen these companies before. Some work, some don’t. A majority of them don’t. And, unless you can be sure that these email addresses they are giving you are truly double opt in(this is the process of saying “Sure! Send me information” digitally through a doubled process to be certain that those individuals in fact do want the information that’s being sent to their email addresses), and not harvested emails(emails that are randomly collected from around the internet with no idea they are being put on lists), it’s like taking a shot in the dark.

Anyone can tell a lie. But
